It keeps defaulting back to "Ring" after I do a Soft Rest ](*,)

NOPE its a bug, gotta wait until we get an upgrade or HARDSPL

There are quite a few registry changes made in that cab. I wish I could narrow down what fixes it. That cab changes a lot of the phone settings and it makes me a bit worried. :(

weird, i don't have this problem at all. i have it set to ring & vibe, soft reset numerous times from installing things and still is set to ring & vibe.

it is weird since I've already had to return one defective TP2 and it had the same issue.
