you can add alot more dotin the settings

Meh, the thought doesn't really bother me. Plus I've never had a phone lost or stolen anyway. But even so, it doesn't really bother me.

ive never had mine lost or stolen either, but i have had co-workers pick it and mess with it when i forget to pop it back in my pocket. What type of authentication would be good?

I've been looking for an alternative to the default windows lock screen, since I cant run around without security on my phone. The problem with the wm lock screen is that it doesn't show the time and the battery meter at the same time, so you have to choose. And having to key in your pin every time just to check out the clock, or for any reason, is cumbersome. S2U2 is extremely buggy for me, and the security also uses a pin code.

What's cool about this program is that instead of using a pin code, you create a pattern on a grid of dots and you can just slide your thumb around the dots to enter your unlock pattern. The size of the grid is user-definable, so you can increase the size of the grid and create an extremely secure unlock pattern that can also quickly and easily unlock your device.

Here is a video showing how easily your unlock pattern can be entered:

The latest release also has a 3d effect based that utilizes the 3D sensor. I'm not too fond of it, but some of you may like it. I've disabled it from the user settings.

Here is a video of the 3d effect:

It works perfectly on the TP2, and it's so nice not having to key in a pin. Hope you guys find it as useful as I have.

do you guiys remember the G-SEN lock that was pretty popular a while back, what ever happen to that, it seems to work fine and it was real simple.

I think at least some type of authentication is necessary. ANY authentication is better than none.

The default WM pin lock is pretty secure. In order for someone to access your phone, they'd have to hard reset it which would get rid of all of your data. WM's default pin lock is actually required for some exchange servers depending on that server's security settings.

I just chose this one because its much easier to slide my thumb around to enter the pattern rather than type in a pin. And my mail is coming from a linux based server with IMAP, so the WM pin lock isn't required.

S2U2 also has pin authentication, but I'm not sure how secure it is.

I guess it all depends on your paranoia level, and the amount/type of information you have on or coming into your phone.

It'd be nice to be so care free and just be able to pop right into TF3D, but I have too much data on my device.
