ROM For HTC Touch Pro2 Verizon

i want winmo 6.5 and the new touchflo on my verizon touch pro2, if the update is coming out october 6th ill just wait but if its coming out after that i would like to flash a rom. what is the best one? if i flash a rom will i lose all of the programs from verizon like vznavigator or visual voice mail? will i still be able to install the official rom later?

As for flashing custom roms thats not possible yet at this moment since the hard-spl has not been completed but when that becomes available you can flash any rom you want thats made for that device. You can also flash back to a stock verizon rom as well if you want to, also the phone doesn't need to be unlocked if flashing an official rom. As far as what programs you will lose would depend on if its a clean custom rom in which you will have to add back in your own cabs and of course that would depend on who cooks the rom.

If I am not mistaken there are a couple of chefs out there that have some work in progress roms but cant really test them out yet since the hard-spl has not been released. As far as the official date for 6.5 many people are hoping for the 6th but nothing as been officially announced so we will see in a few days.
