It is best to install either one of the tweaks cabs or one of the cleanup cabs directly following a clear storage/hard reset and also a soft reset. Install only one cab and make sure you have the correct version for your OS.

Ok... as they say, there aren't stupid questions, just stupid people, so sorry if I'm one of those, but should I see after installing the Verizon tweaks an actual tweak program that I can go into and decide what I want and don't want? I had previously installed an HD2 tweak that supposedly worked on the tp2 but decided I wanted to try this one better, however that HD2 one did give me a program icon for me to go in and decide which changes I wanted.

Also, any .cab that can make my virtual keyboard appear automatically when I choose to reply on an sms or mms? I don't want to have to tap the small keyboard logo on the bottom everytime I'm gonna reply

p.s. I did go through all 64 pages of the thread, so if any of these answers was there and I missed it I'm really sorry, you are all welcome to call me a noob, but hey, at least I didn't ask about the symbol thing on the keyboard or if If I could install both the cleanup and tweak right?? :P

Basically these cabs just do all of the tweaks listed at the beginning of this thread by the OP upon installation. These are not tweak apps like Advanced Config or Diamond Tweak they basically make several changes to your device's registry and install drivers when you install them. Like I said previously, only install one at a time and right after a hard reset.

I installed this two weeks ago after a hard reset, and I'm mostly happy, except for the Bluetooth behavior. All audio is going to my headset after the patch, from streaming audio to notifications. How can I turn them off, since I don't have my headset in all the time, and it's making me miss some of my notifications?

Got it... thanks... and so far so good... I haven't found anything so far that I consider a deal breaker... I was just curious of whether I could personalize it more by chosing which tweaks to apply and which not but if It can't be done I'm happy as it is!

Help! I have had my TP2 well over a year and decided to do the "clean-up". I hard reset (stock 6.5 ROM) and if I touch "lock", it locks, but I can't unlock it. Sliding keyboard doesn't do it. Sliding the icon opens an emergency dialer screen. What's the trick? I've searched here, to no avail. I feel pretty stupid. For now, I've done another hard reset and I'll wait for an answer before I try clean-up again.

Did you hard reset BEFORE you ran the cleanup package? or only after?

I hard reset, then ran "clean-up" cab. (Yes, I used the correct cab, sprint_tp2_cleanup) I would end up having to pull the battery to shut it down. Then, to make matters worse, I tried putting a code to unlock it in the security settings. Then, I couldn't unlock it using any method. I had to do another hard reset to get that out of there.
If I don't hear an answer, I will probably use my SPB backup and live with it as it comes. Though I lurk here a lot, and I have learned a lot from you people, I feel like a noob.

weird... but i gotta say that i didn't like the 6.5 at all. im back at 6.1. the 6.5 was weird for me after the cleanup, it was weird before the cleanup.

why don't you try the cleanup again and see if it was just a fluke. couldn't hurt any. you can always hard reset again and restore with spb
