Is your clock accurate when synced with network time?

Hi--New poster here. Running HTC TP2 on Sprint. Checking under Settings>All settings>Clock& Alarm>Time one can see the exact time to the second, and it should be accurate, especially if under Communications Manager>Phone>CDMA Services>Time Synchronization>Get settings the "auto" button is checked -or- you press Update Now. Yet I find that the time is about 14 seconds faster than the atomic clock time, whereas in other phones I've had on the Sprint system it was exact. Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Is your clock accurate when synced with network time?

Mine is faster than the time listed at time.gov for EST and it's set to sync with the network.

Welcome to the group.

I'm about 15 seconds fast too.

It should match whatever the switches clock is syncing to.

I never use Time Synch. I live in AZ and no matter what I do, it will always auto change to Mountain Time when DST is not observed.

Interesting. You can count the network out as being the factor, they provide time services for datacenters.

I wonder if Windows' Intermediate GPS Driver also attempts to sync by GPS...
