Camera focus tweak
 

Tab once to focus the lens then tap a second time to actually take the pic - something along the lines of what the TP1 could do. Is there anyway to achieve this? This would be a great feature/tweak.

Any ideas? Is this not possible with some ROM/software modification?

try tapping the part of the frame that you want to focus on. then tap the shutter button to snap the pic.

Tapping the screen doesn't solve the problem. The camera still goes through the focusing routine once the capture button is touched even if you have selected a particular area to focus on the screen. I'm asking for a feature similar to what was available on the TP1 - press once to focus - press a second time to immediately capture the pic. Huge difference from what is available using the factory settings on the TP2.
