Change homescreen softkeys?
 

Does anyone know how to change the homescreen softkeys? I would like to make the camera one go to the comm manager instead. Also does anyone know how to add the disconnect after feature where it turns off the data connection after a certain time? I used to be able to do it in Advanced Config on my Touch Pro but im not sure if advanced config would still work on the TP2

Changing softkeys for Sprint is tricky. The right one is unchangable (as of now), Left softkey looks at the right key path. You better just read this whole thread. Advanced config works well on TP2. Used it to fix my GPS lag.

I have changed both of them
cant recall right now I will come with answer when I remember, I did it through another software though. maybe advanced config 3.3

yeap advanced config 3.3 in under the menu\more settings\key mapping

I've dealt with this, and it's not as easy as it seems (Sprint). The Advanced Config Tool vs. 3.3 can only remap the left softkey, and you have to do things goofy to make it work. I think Mighty Mike figured this one out, and my use of the SEARCH function found it, and applied it, and have made posts similar to this several times, but here goes again.

Here is my Home Screen (notice the left softkey)

Here is what I put in the Advanced Config Tool under Key Mapping

Notice I had to put the link for the program for the left softkey in the right softkey link box. Nothing you do will take away the Contacts from coming up when you press the right softkey, and if you don't enter the left softkey link in the right softkey link box, it won't work.

Clear as mud, right?

I know this will work with TF3D disabled, the challenge is when it's enabled, "all contacts" comes back.

if you got your RSK 2 activate something other than contacts while using touchflo on sprint's pro2, i think u would be the 1st.
