Verizon TP2, Windows 7 and VZ Access Manager
For those of us who have to use VZ Access Manager for any reason, here is how to get VZ Access Manager working under Windows 7, since both HTC and Verizon are completely ****ing retarded when it comes to this.
Go to http://www.vzam.net and download the latest version for Touch Pro Before you run it, right click on the file and go to Compatibility Settings. Set compatibility to Vista Service Pack 2 and Run as Administrator. The problem is without these settings the modem driver install will fail and you will not be able to detect the modem in VZAM. With the compatibility settings, the Vista driver will install and then it will work. HTC Internet Sharing will do the trick too, haven't checked around to see if someone has that working on TP2 yet :) |

Why would you use VZAccessManager? You can use DUN or ICS and bybass it completely.
