start menu folders

is there any way to add folders to the start menu / programs screen? would be really great to have a folder named gps, for instance, with all the gps type programs in it. i have mobile shell 3 which can do this but like touch flow better.

I am trying to find this out also. I deleted the "Office Mobile" icon from the All Programs screen and now I can't find a way to add it back!

Just put another folder of your choice in the programs folder

I think you are referring to the WM Start Menu and not the HTC Programs screen. I know of no way to add a folder to the HTC Programs screen... if I am wrong, please enlighten me.

(SolApathy) Create a folder under windows/start menu/programs. Name it whatever you want.
move program links from the programs folder into that folder using activesync

Now go under HLKM\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\PROGRAMLAUNCHER\

chose a program position (they are labeled by number) & open it. Modify the following values (I will use "Utilities" as my example):
DispName: Utilities
IconPath: this is up to you, I leave it blank, but you can link to an icon in the folder you create)
IsReadOnly:0
Path:\Windows\Start Menu\Utilities

Now you may be saying what? The paths do not match between where you placed the folder & the path in the registry... You are right; apparently it assumes the path is: \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Utilities.
So you just need to put in \Windows\Start Menu\Utilities

otter thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for. I hated the Touchflo programs list with out using my folders. I tend to like having my programs organized.
