That is a negative. Same thing happened again when I put in the settings, it goes back to regular connection settings and wipes out the new connection setting. Pretty Frustrating, any other suggestions?

a. i dont see the way to actually change it
i can edit, and since i found the code with the regedit technique i can get into the edit, but i didnt see a field in the eist or w/e that is where i put this 000000 or could change my msl - someone mind enlightening me? i do have other code's i'd prefer it to be....

you need to change it to 000000 so houdini can flash it over, and its not eist, its EPST settings.

ok now we're talking. The guide does not properly give a keystroke by keystroke for that. Mind enlightening me?

the problem is houdini doesnt see it on serial port 1
and it only gives 1 3 4 and 12 as options and it sees it never.

lets assume tis becase of the msl change from the unlock to the 000000 - exactly how do i do that?

then use QPST or CDMA workshop to change it to six zeros.

you also need to put the phone in diagnostic mode before running the houdini detection, which is ##3424#

hi everyone, I am having problems getting my verizion tp2 to work on metropcs. I did a hardspl, then flashed it with mightyrom. got the sim unlocker, and my tp2 now works w/ my tmobile card.

I updated the prl to 02003, and now when I dial *228 or 611, I get metropcs. so I take it to my buddy's metropcs shop, and houdini can't find it. I call metro to give them my ESN, and they say it's not in their inventory, and I gotta goto the metropcs corporate store. I go there, and they say they can't do anything, and they can't flash it either.

what am I doing wrong? do I have to do another unlock (MSL)? at my buddy's shoppe, he said houdini can't detect when the USB is plugged in. when I dial ##3424 or ##3424#, I get nothing. please advise. thanks.

did you correctly do step6? change your msl from whatever to 000000?
