Call quality GSM vs CDMA
Coming from an ATT TP to a Verizon TP 2, people say that I sound more muffled. Is this typical for CDMA?

Re: Call quality GSM vs CDMA
LOl muffle... thats the first time i hear this, usually they tell me there is distortion because of street noise or for not speaking where the microphone is located. but i can only speak for sprint since i never had Verizon...

Re: Call quality GSM vs CDMA
well, I gotta say a friend of mine (we both sold cell phones for years, him until just a few yrs ago) well he switched to verizon this spring and has had nothing but trouble. all the time I have trouble hearing him. his bill's always screwed up, they nailed him on data cap for his aircard >2k$.
i can still hear that pin drop on my sprint phones. lol :) /rant [help-fix] try changing the voice codecs, via epst. I'm not sure what all verizon/Tp2 supports, but I've been happy with mine set to SMV in epst it's under CDMA Settings; EVRC=enable, Home Page=smv, Home Orig= smv, Roam Orig= smv |
