Bluetooth Headsets For TP2

Whats a good bluetooth headset for mono or stereo headsets to listen music and use phone calls on it?

im currently using the Jabra BT 8010, which is a great headset for mono or stereo music playback. It lasts over 10 hours on a single charge, and multiple devices can be paired with this headset.

I have no problems with this headset but im looking for another one that i can listen to music on, since my headset is kinda old and worn its still very useable, i'd just like to try out another one with better comfort around the ears. Any suggestions? what are you guys using?

I am using the Jaybird JB-200 BT headset. Its sweat and moisture resistant, which made them great for the gym. The sound reproduction is quite good, and the new ones have a better audio driver built in which gives you about 20% better sound quality than the gen 1 version.

Best part is that they are $99.

i use a jaybird 200 (freedom)head set so i can jog and i have them on for 8+hours a day! sounds good too but could be better! the companies customer support is the best i bought them when they first came out and have broken 3 pair over 2years and they still replace them every time i put in a exchange claim!!

I have been through a few mono headsets including the jawbone until I washed it with my pants. I just picked up the Motorola Endeavor HX1 and I am thoroughly impressed!! It is the only bluetooth earpiece with a great bonemike. The stealth mode (bone mike mode) is almost good enough to use all the time but is not quite as clear as the normal mike mode. In extreme noise conditions, most recently at the Chicago airport inside and out and in very high noise and windy conditions the "stealth mode" shuts off the conventional mic completely and only uses the bone conduction mike and it works amazingly well.. better than the jawbone by a long shot. There is also some voice prompts and instructions to talk you through some of the features and it will also pair with multiple devices at the same time. Best I have used so far. I don't use the ear loop with mine and I haven't had a problem with keeping it in since it does go partly inside your ear canal in order to allow you to hear in high noise environments and also allow the bone mike to make good contact.

I have the Plantronics Voyager 855. Its been out for a while but I love it due to its mono and stereo. I believe its very similiar to what you have but a bit smaller. I also like not having the loop over my ear..

I've been using the MOTOROKR S9-HD recently and love the sound they produce.

They are not for everyone or for certain environments, probably. As they are a behind the head, stereo Bluetooth headset with SRS WOW HD+ features built in. Multiple buttons for dialing, volume, next/last track, play/pause. They also come with 2 different sized ear piece covers, for different sized canals.

Calls are clear and voice command works just fine with them as well. Mostly, I love having them for music listening, while active or walking.

For headphones, I HIGHLY recommend (as I have been for the last 4 years), Motorola HT820. AWESOME bluetooth headphones! I use it at the gym and at home. has a answer/end button, vol up/down, track up/down, pause/play button (track and pause/play only work with Windows Media Player), great GREAT loud sound, very sensitive mic, and best of all, after 4 years of using the same headset, my earpads wore out. I contacted Motorola, and they shipped me a replacement set for free. Now it's like new! Best $50 I spent!

FYI: If you plan on buying from ebay, make sure you're getting a true Motorola brand. There are many knocks-offs from Hong Kong (my brother got one). Although it looks identical, it definitely feels cheap, and performs cheap.

As for the bluetooth headsets, I always get Plantronics. Very stylish, comfortable, minimal, and works great. I've gone through 5 sets (2 645, 2 655's, and 1 925). They were so comfortable, I forgot I had them on. I put my motorcycle helmet over it, and lost 2 that way. I plan on getting the new Plantronics 975. But also check out the Plantronics 925. I saw Costco sold the 925 for $80 this Summer.
