Sprint Touch Pro2 NOT charging when streaming internet radio (like Touch Pro)

Sprint Touch Pro2 NOT charging when streaming internet radio (like Touch Pro)
OK I’m seeing the same "not charging" problem on my Touch Pro2 as I had on my Touch Pro
I like to stream internet radio from my phone while at work
I have the phone on a usb cable to my PC to keep charged /provide power
On my HTC/Sprint “Touch” I could streaming radio all shift (12 hours !) not problem not even a hiccup
On my HTC/Sprint “Touch Pro” I could streaming radio about 1 hour and by then it would get so hot it would quit charging and drain the battery in about another hour
On my HTC/Sprint “Touch Pro 2” I can streaming radio about 1 hour and by then I get a warning saying there in insufficient power coming over the usb to charge and to close unused apps or switch to AC charger it then quits charging …
The thing is I do not have any other app running other then the media player doing the streaming and going to an ac charger did not seem to resolve…
However the phone does NOT seem to get overly hot like the Touch Pro

Sorry to hear it but thanks for the note. Looks like I'm going to get the Mogul instead of the Touch Pro 2.

Same here, HB... except the TP2 DOES get majorly hot.

The only benefit to the mogul over the touch pro 2, is the mogul is cheap. I have a mogul as my only phone.

This issue does not seem to be widespread. I have the TP2 from sprint and can stream shoutcast with coreplayer over bluetooth while using sprint navigation and charging for at least 3 1/2 hours straight without it stop charging or dipping below 100 percent... drove 600 miles round trip with it and it never stopped once!

Yeah, it's a joke. It would be a move backwards from the TP that I'm currently using, although at this rate, I could steam music all day with the Mogul, but with the TP I have about 1 hr before the battery is dead.

i had the same issue when streaming. the answer = charge via ac outlet as the pc does not output enough power to charge while streaming.
