TP2 vs. TP1 screen question
 
Is the TP2 screen bigger only in that it has more pixels in one dimension, or are the pixels a different size such that the 480 pixel dimension is also bigger than the TP1?

touch pro screen is 2.8 inches and is 640x480 pixels and the TP2 screen is 3.6 inches and 800x480 pixels.

That's not what the OP is really asking.


Dolphran:

I'm fairly certain that the actual screen width is the exact same on the two devices. I have my TP1 in the car and I will bring it in to work and compare to see if the screens are the same. If anything, the TP2 screen may be a hair wider.

It is a bit wider and way longer.

someone should show that pic to exil3d, so he can find more defects to convince himself he doesn't want that boost in screen size.

The difference in screen size reminds me of when I upgraded from a 27" to a 50" Plasma. Sure you can convince yourself that the 27" is good enough but after just a couple of days with the 50" you know you could never go back. The same is true when going from the TP1 to the TP2.
