This file will BOOST earpiece, speakerphone, and bluetooth volume!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

There are TWO VERSIONS of the file so use THE VERSION THAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU!!!!

Using a file explorer program such as Resco Explorer http://www.resco.net/downloads/pocke...eren_p.ARM.CAB or Total File Commander http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab, copy the AudioPara3.csv to you windows directory overwriting your current AudioPara3.csv file on your touch pro 2 and then SOFT-RESET!

To revert back to stock just simply delete the edited AudioPara3.csv file in the windows directory and SOFT-RESET, your phone will automatically re-create the stock file!

This disclaimer really doesn't apply as these two files don't make things EXTREMELY LOUD yet...

it is not an app.

DL the zip files, unzip them & then copy the new audiopara3 file to your Windows folder overwriting the original (you use one or the other, not both). Soft reset & you're good to go.

This must be a carrier thing, it's not the first time I've heard the audio quality/volume on a Sprint phone be inferior to the Verizon version though. If anything my Verizon TP2 is TOO loud - I use the earpiece volume at the LOWEST setting and it's still rather loud. Speakerphone I never go above half and have all the volume I need.

Do these experience the same issue as the TP1 versions that over time reduce volume (especially when switching to/from roaming or airplane modes)?

That still tells us nothing about what the two files are. I believe this is the answer people are looking for.

In the future, you may want to use informative filenames, such as;

Badboy8813s_minimum_tweaked_TP2_Audiopara3.zip
Badboy8813s_medium_tweaked_TP2_Audiopara3.zip
Badboy8813s_maximum_tweaked_TP2_Audiopara3.zip (coming soon)

lol okay...for the 3rd time i don't have my TP2 yet so i couldn't tell you which file is louder i just know they both work and YMMV. i've had numerous people test both files are some say 1 is louder while others say 2 is louder so i will be the judge of that when i get my phone later this week...

Thanks for your effort. I do notice the stock TP2 isn't loud enough in a noisy enviroment.

BTW, does this tweak affect earphone output?

What day are you getting your Pro 2? Just want to make sure I get the new file the day you create it just because I want to increase my volume ASAP. I do have one of your current files installed, but I would really like it to be even louder. GPS in the car is so quiet, I pretty much have to turn the radio off and even keep the A/C on low since it gets pretty loud on high.

I am using 2. It is louder, but not loud enough for me. Big thanks to Badboy for working in this. Looking forward to try the next one.

I'm on Verizon & there is no "Audiopara3.csv" file to replace. The choices are:

Audiopara.csv (11k)
Audiopara3_Boot.csv (1k)
Audiopara3_Rhodium#W.csv (118k)
Audiopara3_Rhodium#W_UMTS.csv (118k)
Audiopara3_UMTS.csv (118k)

Thoughts???

I tried both files on my Sprint TP2...........

The first file increased the volume but when i had a 3.5 inch headset plugged in sound came out of both the speaker phone and headset.

The second work fine. Increased the volume on both the headset and speaker phone without any issues.

Yes. I'm using Resco Explorer and no files are hidden. I reset the device & copied the file over again into Windows. This time it confirmed that I wanted to overwrite an existing file. Strange. But, it's there now.

I have similar problem on my sprint TP2-the files above also are in my windows dir- there is no audiopara3. When using total commander I can copy audiopara3.csv over without getting a "overwrite" prompt- what gives?

I am using 2 and noticed a big difference in volume on speaker and the ear piece. However, I still think Bluetooth is very low and hard to hear. Anyone else?

Carriers get to change the values however they want and for some devices it almost appears as if they purposefully cripple them. (I remember seeing some really low values for off-brand name bt devices)
