Where to buy

Has anyone bought from either TimTechs or Overseas Electronics before? I'm about ready to make a purchase and I want to make sure I pick a good vendor. My usual vendors either don't have the TP2 or their price is still too high.

Thanks!

Re: Where to buy

Are you buying the TP2? Pick a carrier and buy from the Telesale. Sprint, Verizon or T-mobile right now. Might be the only way you will get this phone anytime in the next few weeks. Also, you need a carrier!

Good Luck,

If you are in north america, then you can't just buy an unbranded phone and just use it with any carrier unless you get a gsm unlocked model and set it up with t-mobile or att. If you are looking at sprint or verizon then you definitely need to get their branded ones. Most of the members of this site will primarily be using either sprint, verizon and telus which are cdma carriers. Your best bet will be to go over to xda-developers.com where they are primarily gsm users if you are using a gsm carrier.

I didn't realize y'all were mostly cdma users here. Thanks for the heads up on that. I haven't posed the same question over on xda yet but I will.

I'm aware I'll need a gsm phone to use with my gsm carrier (at&t). What I was wondering about was whether or not someone here had done business with the two vendors I mentioned, and if so what their experiences had been like.

Thanks
