Mail icon in stock toolbar counting incorrectly
I've got the Sprint TP2.
My mail counter on the stock toolbar has been showing a count of 2, even though I have no unread messages in my account. I even removed the account and did a soft reset and the counter still shows 2. The account is set to Yahoo..and I've verified that there are no unread messages in my account. When a new message came in, it would increase to 3. Just no matter what I do I can't get it to go away. Any suggestions? |

Look under your outlook folder.

I don't think that's it. I don't have any other email accounts set up. I don't know how it could be counting anything else. |
Re: Mail icon in stock toolbar counting incorrectly
Mine works okay with Yahoo on my phone, but it seems there is an issue right now with Yahoo. On my account, from a computer, I always show 5 Unread messages, even though I have made sure they are all marked as read. So maybe it's a Yahoo issue

I had the same problem...it was a fantom unread message under Outlook E-mail....I got there when I set up Google sync for contacts...

Re: Mail icon in stock toolbar counting incorrectly
Now that might make sense. I am synching my calendar and contacts through gmail.
How did you get rid of it? |
