Wirelessly posted (XV6875 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

I got a ghost armor screen protector for my Verizon TP2. I used the spray to get the cover on and water must have gotten into the phone. The phone sticker is now showing water damage and occasionally my phone pops up the shut down notification acting like the end key is being held. I do not know yet how badly this will effect calls yet. Any suggestions? Anything to do about the sticker?

Take out battery and put phone in a container with rice and cover, if its soon enough it will pull out moisture. Leave in about 12 hours. Of course this will not fix sticker.

When I did this, I missed the part about covering the container. I put the phone in a bowl and left the bowl uncovered, and now I am at work for 11 hours. Might this still help or do I not have a chance now to recover the button?

It works best in an air-tight container.

Baking soda will remove moisture, too.

Most solid-state electronics are pretty resiliant, provided you can get the moisture out. You've got a pretty good chance of salvaging the phone IMO.
