Does anyone know if I use a rebate eligibility on a different line for the TP2 then activate on my line if I will be able to use the rebate? Cause in the fine print it says phone must be activated on line for 30 days or something.

I just called and spoke to an agent and asked for the $150 credit matching Big Red. She immediately asked me if this was the first time I had called Sprint regarding the issue. I of course told her the truth in case some of the previous calls were documented. She then said she needed to have me speak to her supervisor concerning the credit request. One minute later the agent came back on the line and said that her supervisor had approved the credit and that there was no need for me to even talk to her. I had been given the credit which I was told would appear on my account within 24 hours and the entire call took less than 5 minutes!

I have a Tax ID number, but it is not associated with my account at the moment... but you're right, if you click that you're a business user, the price online drops to $199!

But when I tried to click checkout to see if I could get it, it says:
"We’re sorry, but the number you entered is not linked to a business type account with Sprint. This is required to take advantage of the discounts offered on this site. If you are interested in upgrading your phone, please enter www.sprint.com in a new browser window to access the public site. "

What does it take to convert a line to a "business type account"? I'm currently on SERO and don't want to give that up just for this... can SERO and business type account coexist?

(unlike many of us in this thread, I don't have the time/patience to call and get a price adjustment after the fact- I need to know if I can get it for $199 BEFORE I buy it).

My 72 hours had come and past and I still had no credit. I had to call again but this time the lady wasn't so nice. In the end i finally got my 150 credit :)
