i got the pro2 using my mother's $150 upgrade on the 16th (i am out of contract on my account but not $150 eligible), so 2 days ago i did the sprint chat thing after following this thread. i started off by asking the agent if its true they were ruducing the price the 1st she said yes and took my mother's info i also gave her my info since the pda is being used on my account.. she then wrote to call back on the 1st for the adjustment since it can't be applied before then, i asked if it would be easier to return the pda then re-purchase it to which she responded no. that she was noting my account(she said since its on that line) and to just chat back the 1st. So when i chatted back today the reponding agent of course said that there will be no price matching on this device. i responded that my account has been noted and that i still have a transcipt of the original chat. The agent responded that the 1st agent was no allowed to authorize a price match for a personal account, that she misunderstood for whom the price match was for and that this is a problem right now within sprint. i responded by asking when will the charge of the pda hit the account so that i can return it by then. She then asked me to stand by and typed about 2 minutes later that they would honor what the 1st agent stated but that my account is not technically elgible for this price match she would not say which accounts are elgible.

Update: Account Services still said no, but got free Airave. Probably will stop here. With 70 dollar credit for renewal, still came out 220 USD cheaper (switching phone to my line, so no MIR, will send anyway), and I have a fresh 30 days in case it drops or becomes "official".

I have posted on the other thread but it is official and on Sprints web site. The price is for small to large business customers (1-99 employees) for $199.

yeah i would like to get that $100 MIR also. Before this thread i called for the pro2 on my own line and finally got a agent whom was gonna give it to me for upgrade price,(since i am just out of contract) i had asked about price matching verizon to which he said he couldnt do it and the system would not let him apply the MIR instantly although he tried, he said since it just came out it was not letting him apply it.

4 phone calls and 1 really nice lady and I got the 199.99 after MIR as well!!!
Awesome! The second guy who denied me, called me back and asked about it and was shocked that I got the 199.99 price. Talk about the left hand not knowing what the right hand does..... |

Once again thanks to the thread starter i called in today to confirm that i was receiving the $150 in credits and i am in fact receiving it. Being processed as we speak. To all those hating on this thread and the information that it has provided just simply ignore this thread and don't post in here if it offends you that people are able to save a buck or two in these hard times.
