And before everyone shouts "but wait! your contract is cheaper in 2 years blah blah blah", I'm not denying that. But see, this is America, where people want it cheap, and they want it NOW (proof - see: bestbuy removing rebates, and, america stepping over a dollar to pick up a dime). Sprint's ailing and struggling, and they just aren't winning anyone's love by charging almost double for this phone. This could have been a great chance for them to create loyalty, intice new customers, and use the momentum that this rumor had created on dozens of websites to make the masses cheer. Instead, they flipped "non corporate" people (who already get discounts on their service) the finger, thus FURTHER pissing off potential customers. Good job, Sprint. /slowclap

Agreed. Sprint really should offer this to everyone straight up. They'll still make plenty of profit and will go along way toward drawing more customers. They're missing an opportunity with this maneuver.

A LOT of people got the credit so far. you can still get one too.

like i said, dont give up this easy, if everyone keeps fighting for it then MAYBE Sprint will get the discount to everyone ( if its 100% true about the corporate only)

Maybe I can get the discount asking for the Vz price-match. I'll try later tonight when I call in to activate my phone, which I see just got delivered at my house!

i dont know, ill check tomorrow. but i was just talkin man, i dont know what ill do without a hardware keyboard. Hopefully Sprint is in the right mindset and drop the tp to 150 and diamond to 100 and set the tp2 to 200. im pretty sure they will get sales from that...... right?

awesome, your going to enjoy the phone..

and try it, ask for it. you have 30 days, if your not happy cause the phone is cheaper over at V then you have the right to want to cancel. its up to them if they want to keep a customer... ;)

Sprint maybe will understand that people want the phone but are not willing to pay the price when it can be found for cheaper.

i think the difference between me and everyone else is the i still have another year left on my contract, but since im a premier customer i get a 150 upgrade every year, most of you guy were out of contract. It never hurt to give it a try though!!!

I was just told the "price Match" was for new or upgrading customers only.
