Trouble unlocking (security) the phone ...
 

I enabled the security lock so once has to enter a code in order to use the phone. However, almost every time, I run into trouble entering my code.

The unlock screen animations show I am hitting the right buttons, but the input is being ignored. This is extremely frustrating as it will take forever to unlock the phone. Since the animations are showing I am pushing the right buttons, I'm thinking it's a software issue, especially since this only happens in the unlock screen.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Give it about 10 seconds after the screen finishes loading, then type in the numbers. It's still loading everything in the background even though that screen is up waiting for input. It causes a lot of lag if you type in as soon as the screen pops up

I can understand that's the issue after a fresh reboot, but this is almost every time I try to unlock the phone, even if no reboot occurred.
