A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
Hey, does anyone know of a good Podcast/VideoPodcast Subscribe & Sync program to use with the touch pro 2?

Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
I really like PocketPlayer from Conduits as a general media player. I have several podcasts syncing to it.

Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program

Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
Does Yomomedia start to play one podcast automatically after another has finished?

Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
Yomedia's interface is pretty unintuitive and looks like its been beaten by the ugly stick one time too many - are there any other alternatives out there?

Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
yomedia's downloading certain episodes multiple times, kind of getting annoying.
Anyone know of similar podcast kind of things like itunes or zune player? where it'll d/l on the computer and you can sync it to the phone? windows media player sync doesn't seem to differentiate between podcasts/video pocasts and mp3s/video. I sure wish they released a zune sync app for windows mobile.... |

I actually liked RSS Player for a while. You can get the .rss or .xml file from the podcast then you can add it to RSS Player and fetch podcasts that way. Egress is a little more GUI friendly though (not free) |
Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
ick, that's a huge shame.
You would think if MS had their act together they would have integrated in the zune syncing like Iphone has done with the itunes....... |
Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
I'm still using beyondpod. They haven't updated it in a while, but it worked on my mogul and works still on the TP2. I download podcasts everyday and listen/watch them while I commute on the bus. It has one issue that I've learned to work around, but it's not enough for me to search out or learn another app.
If you are looking for an app to sync from your pc to your TP2, you could try doubletwist. |
Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
I just started using yomomedia today, is there any way to delete a podcast before downloading it? I can only delete podcasts that I've listened to. The option to delete undownloaded podcast is grayed out. Like i dont want to listen to all 400 podcasts from years ago! any ideas?

Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
I use beyondpod to download podcasts all to the same folder, then kinoma freeplay to listen -- with that folder saved as a favorite. Adding new podcast subscriptions in beyondpod is a hassle. And I have to manually delete ones I've listened to in kfp. But I do it this way to make it easy to listen to and switch between downloaded podcasts while driving.
I never sync the TP2 with a computer. I'm on a Mac, and I really miss the ease of syncing with itunes (including playlists and smart playlists) on an ipod. |
Re: A Good Podcast/Video Podcast Sync Program
i'm using yomomedia, since it is internet based at home, it might work on your mac.
I liked it the best out of all the rss readers I tried. None of them seem to work perfectly. |
