Ordered my TP2 yesterday online at verizonwireless for $149 w/2 yr. contract! It showed the retail price of $299 crossed out and under that a 2 yr. price of $249. Plus the $100 online discount, came out to $149!:headbang:

Are you by any chance on a discounted plan? I had the same price a week ago. :)

I had to almost raise hell on the phone though to get that price, as I ordered it RIGHT when it came out and that price wasn't live yet. A very helpful rep was finally able to give me a credit, but then when I got transferred to technical support to get it replaced for pixel issues they wound up taking off the credit, as they could just charge me the cheaper price for the phone on the replacement they sent me. :rolleyes:

I got this price also - 25% corporate discount on my account. Not too shabby...

Yeah, I got it for $149 as well. When I called VZ Wireless and talked to a live person the best deal I could get was $199 AFTER mail-in-rebate. But when I went to the online store I got quoted the $149 price. It was showing as a $100 promotional discount and also a $50 early upgrade discount since I have an account that qualifies for VIP program discounts.

Hmmm I paid $199 as a VIP customer, so just gave Verizon an earful on why this $149 price was not extended to me also. They better make me whole.

wow im not a vip customer and only payed $89

-20 for me just talking them into a credit on my account
and that included me insurance and overnight shipping!!
and my discount is only %15!!

Yeah, the VIP discount is $50 off a new phone once per year. So unless you have bought another phone in the past year you should have been eligible.
