Very strange email issue
 

If you look at the attached screen shots you will see that the preview in TF3D says my name is Patrick but the actual email has my correct name Vince. Can anyone explain this one???

It has to be a typo on the Zagg side. Remember that those emails are automated too so you may have gotten an email that was generated generically.

yeah but it is his name in tf3d but when he opens it in outlook it is the wrong name. make sure you have opened the same email you are reading in tf3d

Here's my guess.. The TF3D just reads the basic plain text email, in outlook you see the html version. Zaag must have their script messed up where in the plain text email it just says Patrick, and the html version has your correct name.

Open the message in outlook on your desktop then go to view source. You will probably see Patrick in there somewhere.

Confirmed, I sent a html message with a plain text portion to my self and duplicated it. Zagg has their Email generation script for plain text messed up.
