WM6.5 Question w/current mods?
 

I'm a self-proclaimed noob. I've been running WM for a little over a year now. My question is, with all these awesome mods I've installed on my Sprint TP2, what will happen to them when 6.5 comes on line?

Do you have to unistall all of them, then install 6.5...then re-install the mods? Will alll the mods work with 6.5, or do new ones have to be created?

I'm almost 100% happy with the phone as it is tricked out now...just curious how much of a learning curve will be associated with mods on 6.5...

When Vogue's official upgrade came out, you've downloaded a utility, not much different from a typical RUU back then, that advised you to back up all your documents, programs, etc. It was a full re-flash of a phone.

While I cannot say for the future, how 6.5 upgrade will work, but I can say, with 99.9% certainty that you will have to reinstall all of your things. Some may not be compatible with 6.5, so it may be trial and error.

That is exactly what happened to me when I went from 6.0 to 6.1 on my XV6900. I had to reinstall everything.

op going from 6.1 to 6.5 is like getting a new phone, you will have to install all your mods and tweaks again. now 6.1 to 6.5 isnt too much of an upgrade so most of your tweaks will work but you will have to install them over again.
