How do you make registry changes ? I've downloaded the PHM registry editor. Whenever I search for any of the registry edits shown in this forum, I can't find them. Specifically, all the registry edits start out with a key such as HKLM\etc\etc\etc For instance, I'm trying to make the change in this post: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...54&postcount=3 I can't find this key: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\ Unattended\wav1: = 0 When I open my registry editor, I can navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\Current\ControlSet\Contro l\Power\State\Unattended...........and then it falls apart. I can't find the HKLM settings. I'm obviously doing something wrong, I'm sure it must be simple. I just don't know what it is. Any help that can be offered would be appreciated. |

Re: How do you make registry changes ? Be carefuls making registry edits. Make sure you're doing it in the right spot. One bad reg edit can make for a world of hurt. I would recommend researching doing reg edits on youtube or something. At least till you get the hang of it. |

~~Power\State\ Unattended\ But then I don't see an option for "wav1" The next thing I see is a choice between "{98C5250D...........} or {EB91C7C9.......} So I'm still lost. |
