General Touch Pro 2 Questions
 

Here are a few questions about my touch pro 2 i have... awesome phone... just trying to tweak it as much as verizion DOESNT think i should :P

1. I am on Verizon and my TP2 did not come with google maps installed.
so i went to the web site and sent myself the text message link and it says that my phone does not support the program. Is there any way to get google maps on my touch pro 2... like a modified cab file or something. or did verizon disable it?

2. I would like to add movies to be able to watch but i cant seem to get the Mobile DivX player to install. there are 3 versions of windows mobile to download it for... i tried all 3 and it says that the file is not a vaild PPC program. How can i get Mobile DivX on my phone?

3. Has anyone gotten GH3 mobile to work on their TP2... i cant get it to load, and i downloaded it directly from microsoft.

4. Has anyone got to a point where they can watch videos from other sites other then youtube. I have flashlite installed and opera 9.5b but they still say i need Flash 9 to view... how can i get around this?

1. Google Maps will work just fine on your TP2. Try this here (cab).

2. Try downloading the Divx player to your PC, attach phone through ActiveSync, then run the install program from your PC.

3. GH3 will not work on VGA or WVGA screen. Won't work on TP1 or TP2. GH4 World Tour will work on TP1, not sure about TP2. I havn't tried yet. It would need to support WVGA screen to work on TP2.

4. Wait until Adobe releases Flash 10 for mobile in October. Or try Skyfire browser. http://www.skyfire.com/
