BT phone doesn't ring.
 

I've got a new BT issue. When the BT is connected the phone no longer rings or makes ANY sounds. When I disconnect BT all returns to normal.??? I didn't make any changes and find NO settings for this. Any ideas? Am I missing the obvious?

Is the incoming call displayed on the phone though? Are you saying there is just no audible alert? And if so, do you hear anything through the headset?

Check Start | Settings | Voice Command. Try unchecking the Phone setting temporarily and see if that resolves the issue. If it does adjust the options for the VC Phone Notifications. To be honest I just don't recall whether my phone rings or not when my BT headset is open...and I don't have it handy to try it out.

Well, got it working. Don't know how or why it did what it did. I do know this BT is a nightmare. Still have the volume issue posted in a separate thread.
