Trouble creating New Note
 

I made a shortcut that allows me to open Notes and start with a new blank note. The Shortcut works fine when I launch it from the All Applications screen. When I add a button for it to the Start Screen however I get an error saying 'Cannot open note. It has been renamed, moved or deleted. The shortcut I made is:

21#:MSNOTETAKE -n
I named it NEWNOTE.LNK

Cannot help you with your question, but can offer you a suggestion. Give OneNote a try.
