wake from sleep with new sms
 

the device is set to do this automatically i have looked through the settings, looked through the advanced config tool from xda-dev schapp, and looked in to some prev reg hacks from earlier devices, and searched the forum.

I have found no way to disable this 'feature' which just serves to turn the phone on in my pocket...
Can anyone help?

yeah i never got it to work. does this work at all on the tp2? please somebody check this and report back.

Pocket Shield can be setup to turn off the screen after 10 seconds if the phone awakes and is not unlocked, check it out

Thanks for the tip, I have a CDMA Verizon TP2, I will try this out and see if it works are report back...

Nope...It doesn't work...at least not on my CDMA Verizon TP2....
Any other thoughts?

That is a nice feature from an AWESOME program.

I switched from s2u2 to PS back when I first got my original TP & it is all I ever use now. PS is not free, but it is hands down the best locking program available (& I've tried them all)
