With the October 6th date rapidly approaching, how long will Sprint take to get us that upgrade?

Vogue's official upgrade to 6.1 took about a month or 2 I believe. I think with TP2 it will be faster, since it's a hot new phone to Sprint

I think windows is pushing that 6.5 and the marketplace pretty hard. For a successful launch all carriers should release their updates on oct 6. The sys has been out for months now, they should have a steady rom by now, no need to wait an extra couple of months, imo.

HTC has announced Oct 6th but that appears to be unlocked phones not carrier specific ones:

I voted December, only because there was no option for "Summer of 2010". They are slow when it comes to updates.

i doubt it'll be same day as the official launch... i am hoping for the end of oct tho. i bet if sprint releases the tp2 in stores on oct 6, theyll already have the rom on it tho.

You just contradicted yourself and i don't think you realized it. If they release them on the 6th with 6.5 in the store that would mean that the sprint customized version of 6.5 is are already completed and all it would take is a simple rom flash to update the phone. So why wouldn't they let us download the update from off the site. That makes no sense.

There has been leaked version of the sprint 6.5 rom so thats proof that they are already working on it. Whenever they are released in the stores with 6.5 we will be able to upgrade that same day i'm almost willing to gurantee that

whenever sprint release the tp2 in stores, because i believe that's what they're waiting on.
