cannot delete email account
 

I set up an aol account using htc mail set up and now when I go to the email account section and try to hold the account to delete it, it will not work. I need to delete the account, any solution?

Go to the email tab on TF3d, right soft key menu, tap accounts, accounts again
You will be in Select Account screen,
open your keyboard
highlight with your arrow keys the account yyou want to delete
right soft key menu
delete

This is the procedure for removing email accounts on my VZW TP2 using Manilla 2.1

• Go to the TF3D Email tab on the slider

• Highlight the account you wish to remove

• Click the Right soft key for 'MENU'

• Select 'Accounts' -> 'Accounts...'

• Click the Right soft key for 'MENU'

• Select 'Delete'

thats it, your email account is gone

I had it set up that it goes straight to my inbox so did not have the screen available. i will thank you as well for the effort.

help!! the "delete" soft key is greyed out when trying to delete my hotmail account. all i really want to do to this account tho is update it with the new password, not delete the account all together, so i thought of deleting the account and creating anew with the new password. any help???

This procedure does not work with a hotmail account. Does anyone know how to remove a hotmail account?

Yes, Hotmail/Live is a pain. I had to google and finally found a thread from another site from 2007. Luckily the instructions worked perfectly.

1. Click start, then open up Windows Live
2. Click Menu, Account options
3. Choose switch account

This will tell you it's going to remove all emails, and essentially delete the account. At the end, it will re-start the mail creation process. If you're putting in a new account, go ahead and set it up like before. If not, click reject and you're done. HTH.
