Here is the OnCourse Navigator home page: http://www.oncoursenavigator.com/

I have no relation, it was the first that google popped up.

Some people use the term iGo8 because it was made available through "other" sources first and they installed it on their systems to see if they liked the software before making a purchase. I'm not agreeing nor disagreeing with this methodology, merely stating fact.

Depending on your google-fu you may be able to locate these alternative sources if you desire. But no, it isn't free.

Interesting. Had a look at the primary website for OCN, and found this:

"* Important! Please, be advised that the software runs only on the original SD memory card."

The biggest they have available is 8gb. I was planning on getting a 16gb microSDHC card for my TP2, and don't want to limit myself to 8gb. Certainly don't want to swap out cards for the sake of a GPS program.

Looks like a deal killer for me on this one...

To be clear, I have successfully run both iGo8 and Amigo on a Sprint Touch Pro 2 with NAVTEQ maps. If one were happy with that experience, one would purchase OnCourse Navigator. Same product bundled with North American maps.

You may need to edit the sys.txt file and add these two lines:

Code:

[device]
sdcard_dsk_num=7

After that, you should be able to start it from file explorer.

i've bought an in-dash 2din GPS and it's inclusive the IGO8 gps platform (in SD card). When I explore a file in the SD card using in-dash 2din GPS, it looks fine. When I trying to explore the file using PC, the windows pop up:
" G:\IGO8. refer to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network,and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location. "

I would like explore the file and change the route map to a google map. Please help me how can I explore the file. :-(
