Exchanging TP2 (ReturnKit Help)!
I just got off the phone with the sprint representative and he was trying to explain to me the process of exchanging phones, i think its a little different then how it used to be. He said that they will send the return kit and the new phone, but they are gonna charge my account for the total price of the phone and credit me back once they receive it. Before they wouldnt charge you unless they never receive the phone within their certain amount of days, can someone please explain this to me?

youll be charged the phone till you send the other phone back. my kit came with a ups bag and a return label, 2nd day air ups. they will credit you back the price of the return phone when they receive and inspect the phone/contents. my advice to you is make a copy of the return label, or copy the tracking number down so you have evidence of it being returned, and you can track the return yourself.
depending on your billing cycle, you most likely wont see the charge of the phone on your account affecting your bill. but..... that kit wont come with your new phone, it will be shipped seperate. |

no, the claim has been processed so that's all there is to it. you have the new phone coming and they will receive your old phone and get onto refurbing it. worry not...

yeah you should be good. its under 30 days, they usually dont give you a rash and a ..it. i had to do the same thing, only my problem was obvious, CRACKED SCREEN ON ARRIVAL

Oh this is what i do..I keep the battery and stylus and never been charged for them. "no guarantees" but works for me. Also returning anything to there warehouse is a nitemare..Sometimes it can take 2 months or longer. Just continue to pay your regular bill and have Account Services to note your account about the phone being returned.

The same thing happened to me with Verizon when I called to exchange my phone. I was like WTF as well, but they told me there wasn't any other way they could do it. Luckily, they charged me the cheaper price for the phone, which was $50 cheaper since the price changed, and I will be refunded the full original price once I ship them my phone back. :)
