Using file explorer on the PPC select the file and copy it.
Then navigate to Windows/Start Menu/Programs and paste the shortcut in that directory.
From there you can rename the shortcut to whatever you like.

Resco File explorer has a send to start men as shortcut option for files. Resco File Explorer is WAY better then the stock file explorer and should be on any serious user's WinMo device.

I agree. It's better than Total Commander too. TC doesn't even have a function to email a file, that I can find. But the issues with Resco's registration keys when you upgrade, even the ROM, or get a replacement phone, are a big hassle.

I am on my 3rd phone with Resco Explorer (HTC Apache 6700, HTC Titan 6800 and now TP2) and have used the same reg key for Resco Explorer. Only issue I had was when going from 6700 to 6800 the newest release was 7.00 and my key was for 6.x. I had to call them to get the upgrade key....had to complain a bit to get the key as they wanted me to purchase the program again instead of letting me upgrade from 6.x to 7.00.

And I agree, Resco Explorer is far better than any stock file explorer for WinMo......and I like it better than TC, TC being free is the plus for TC.....but it doesn't out weight the benifits that Resco file explorer brings.
The Registry and FTP add-ins make it even better.

Resco File Explorer is my #1 must have for WinMo phones.
