these are orginally from around the relase of the TP2 when we were all stuck on 6.1 before HSPL.. its not meant for 6.5 nor do i think it works like it did for 6.1..

also i believe push is gone from 6.5 so theres nothing to disable now.. could be wrong, but you goto the internet tab and press right soft key.. there was a menu seletion for push services, if its not there, then no push

First, I would like to mention that I have had PushInternet service disabled and set to manual start through FDC TM. So, I didn't want to mess with the PushInternet cab, hearing that it has a negative effect on Opera. Now, on to what I did. I ran the SSK ResProxy cab and rebooted. I'm impressed. Not only did it boot faster, but mem usage dropped down to 41% WITH TF3D. I loaded Opera and currently I'm at 50%. Hell of a lot better than 65% - 70%. The other benefit I'm noticing is that everything is faster. Opera renders pages way faster than before. And scrolling is more smoother and less choppy. Thanks to the OP (Stang). Now I don't have to turn TF3D off to save memory.

Can you confirm whether you're running 6.1 or 6.5?

Thanks!

They will install and say they don't work with this version of windows, but I believe you will notice better RAM %s after install as well.
I have talked myself into upgrading to winmo 6.5, and loaded that stock item from 6.1 to monitor memory/quick tm cab, and I have noticed a slight decrease, from 52% to 49% just after reboot - so, not a huge difference in #'s, but a noticeable difference in performance. I like the 2 so far for the noticeable difference in performance in each program.

Re: Free up 25-30 megs of Ram with 2 cabs here

OK, NooB... how do I know it's working or being used? I downloaded both cabs last night, and soft reset, but is this a cab that I can verify it's in operation?
49% after reboot? hate to be greedy, but I was hoping for more, like 38% like listed before by another user. I'm liking my TP2 more and more and getting used to it being a slow phone, every little bit helps. If there's a way to be running faster, then I want it all! thanks!
