Not sure if its just me, but after installing both I get more memory for sure. But it has messed up my ability to go back to previous page. Just goes back to the last place I touched on the sceen. This is while using Opera.

I know these two cab files lower the ram usage but is it side effect free...?? cause I did a lot of different type of cab files back in the Mogul days and it really messed the phone up pretty bad always crashing and everything... I know you all been all over this already but it would great be appreciated if someone could def let me know if there's any side effect at all...

The first tweak alone freed up about 30MB for me.

stanglifemike - it's good to see you already got your TP2. You've been a great source of info for me since the ol' Samsung i760 over on PDA Phone Home. I am also fricking ecstatic to see Scott also got himself a TP2 already. I cannot WAIT to get my hands on his TP2 Kitchen!

I hit thanks for you for these cabs.... I too had already disabled the push internet since day one, but that proxy cab was a crazy surprise! I boot with almost 20 megs more free.

Also, for anyone who might be wondering, the proxy mod works whether you use TF3D or not (I dont).

Mike - I hopped over to SSKusers.net to grab some of those other tweaks, but realized that I had never registered over there, and for whatever reason, Scott has disabled registration. I was hoping you might be able to repost that cab here. Also, is this the cab that leaves it so that you still get that little bubble at the top when you send an sms? Or did someone finally fix that?

Does the phone start to slow for anyone at a certain point of RAM usage? When I first started the phone and saw 60% used on boot-up I was like "WTF?" But after I installed this stuff it boots at 40-45%.

I kinda like having my internet boot up fast but I don't need the push internet. So...my main question is, at what point does the phone start to slow down?

Welp. Just installed them. Opera now takes about 5 seconds to load. I can deal with that. However, I did notice my web page rendering is a bit quirky. It could be just a goof but you can count on me letting you know if it continues.

Yeah it said registrations are currently disabled or something very similar...

Can you confirm if the cab from scott's forum still has the little message bubble that appears up in the taskbar for 5 seconds every time you send an SMS?

i tried the nopushinternet cab, and it made my opera browser slower, and less stable. i uninstalled it, and opera is a lot smoother, and faster without that cab....
