yes it frees RAM but It makes your TP2 runs slower ...I had a discussion about it with Mighty Mike and I was told that if I disable the proxy ..I will gain RAM on the account of losing speed .

Here are the registry changes that these two cab files make:

TP2 Dynamic Resource Proxy
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\ResProxy
ShareMemSize value="0" datatype="integer"

TP2 NoPushInternet
"HKLM\Services\PushInternetEngine" "Flags" value="4" datatype="integer"
"HKLM\Software\HTC\PushInternetEngine" "Enable" value="0" datatype="integer"
"HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\InternetPush" "EnablePushInternet" value="0" datatype="integer"
"HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleNam e" "Opera" value="\Windows\OperaL.exe" datatype="string"

Thats weird. This has NEVER slowed my phone down on any of the ROMs that I use, but I have never tried Mighty's, so maybe theres a connection. These cabs have helped the speed and memory usage on every ROM I have tried so far, and I believe that almost everyone would agree. I'm not saying that you or Mighty are incorrect, just saying that it isnt a very common.

I installed both on EnergyROM_21877_RHOD500_04.Dec.2009_Standard_Phoen ix and it didnt free up or lose any Ram. I started with 78mb free before and after installing it was still 78 mb after soft reboot.

hi everyone, i am a newbe here. I just got the TP2 and i want to install the 2 cabs on my phone. But, how do you install the cabs? I have downloaded the zip files. I have searched online to figure out what to do next and now i am more confused then before.

Just copy the cabs to your phone. Once they are on your phone double click them from your phone and follow instructions.

these installs definitely made a diffrence on my Imagio. It was running slow before with about 80% memory used and now it runs noticebly faster with only 55-61% memory used.
