Re: Free up 25-30 megs of Ram with 2 cabs here
I've only installed these two cab tweaks and have intermittent 'manila.exe' crashes. Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Free up 25-30 megs of Ram with 2 cabs here
^It depends on what else you have installed, but I'm booting at well over 100 free with TF3D running. What else do you have installed?

Re: Free up 25-30 megs of Ram with 2 cabs here
I jsut did this and mem free jumped from 89.83 at reboot to 119.26. So got 30mb free out of it. As to it being faster, not so sure of that one. feels the same.

I do not run TF3D - use today screen with MS2 and PS2 with the battery cab and the clock cab - 124MB free....amazing. I never use Opera anyway - I use Skyfire!

Re: Free up 25-30 megs of Ram with 2 cabs here
I am seeing I start out with more ram but after a couple of hours use it goes back up again. It looks like the reg entry just zeros out the buffer HTC set up it grows like a page file except it uses system memory instead of HD space. WHat I am saying is it will boot with more memory but unless you do a soft reset it won't stay free after a couple hour s normal use it goes back up again anyway. We might need to find a way to remove this feature to get the memory back permanent but then it might slow the device down again.
