Weather cab to get local weather on TP2?

I used a cab to get local town weather on my old TP. Can that cab be used on a TP2 without screwing it up?

What do you mean? Are you saying your town isn't listed on the list in the TFlo weather tab?

cool, that's what I was talking about. Are you using this on your TP2? Does it mess anything up?

You could try this too: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=81108 The only problem is that the first time you go to load up weather or the world clock the first time after installing, it takes a little bit before it responds, but it's fine after that.

I use this cab too. It's awesome. It has every city that I've needed. It does take a while to load up the weather or world clock the first time, but after that there's no delay at all.

It doesn't mess anything up at all. It basically takes the one database file and allows you to add cities to it. The other one people are mentioning are basically a full list of all the cities, which can be just bulk that you may not need.

The weather data is coming from accuweather.com, so as long as your city/village is listed on that website, you can add it.

Anybody else have a problem with the temperature being off? Also my CPU says it's rainy, and it says partly cloudy? Very odd.

I've had the accuweather servers be off once in a while using my G15 plugin. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

I had to add this in. I have an Ipod Touch 2nd Gen and both the pre-installed and Hot Weather App I downloaded both said it was 20 degrees below 0. To my knowledge it has never been that cold here in Va within my life time. It was actually 80 degrees that day. It took two days for the pre-installed app to reset. It just means there can be bugs in all apps from time to time.

If those dont work out for you then you can use the file below. I couldnt get any weather apps to work except this one. It also includes the "get rid of message sent", but that part doesnt work for Verizon. The weather works great on VZW and should on any carrier. Not sure what the difference is other than this one WORKS!! Props go to Scrosler :headbang:
