Ive never had a problem with iGO8. I have tried Tom Tom before but didnt like it too much, just my preference.

responsive doesn't equal quality...i get full gps signal in my house yet when i take it for a drive...it lags...igo8 is a great product i have been playing with it for a couple of days but this phone cannot hold a candle to my mogul when it comes to gps accuracy...

I agree this GPS is still laggy, though not as bad as the TP1. My TP1 would generally lag behind by about three seconds, driving at 45-50mph. The TP2 lags by about a full second.

More importantly though is that the TP2's GPS locks MUCH more quickly. I usually have 7 or more locks in less than 10 seconds. The TP1 took 30-60 seconds.

I never had a problem with my TP1 and TomTom6. Now, I lag far behind.

um... isnt your phone supposed to be off for safety during a flight?

Sure. And now they have WiFi enabled flights. That "turn your electronics off" is all crap.
