PRI version

My VZ reads the PRi as 1.65_002

if i remember correctly the PPST2.01 was set to update the PRI right??
so is it safe to install the PPST cab on the touch pro2??
with the PPST cab my TP1 would get a lock in seconds and have 11 sats minium.
with the TP2 i can barely manage 6 and that too after a while
any thoughts

Re: PRI version

I'd love to hear the answer as well. I guess I could try it on my phone since it's a company phone.

I sent conflipper this very question regarding the Sprint PRI. No response yet. I delved into it more after that and I'm inclined to believe that PRIs are model-specific.

Don't try it....yet.

Re: PRI version

Absolutely not. PRIs are device specific. You'll run a very good chance of borking your phone. I'm really surprised you guys are having GPS trouble. Mine is a near instant lock even indoors. my Sprint TP1 on VZW could never pull that off

Re: PRI version

I would not recommend it, PRI has a lot of touchy info and I would not recomment it, I know that Victor and hermann worked fine, but no idea on TP and TP2, if I had a TP2 i would test it, just because I am not scared of ruining a device. But not really sure.
