I was visiting nuerom website and no2chem got a sprint TP2

Poested by no2chemI got the Touch Pro 2 from Sprint, finally – and can begin working on it. I’ll have a version of the battery driver with FastCharge, Temperature Override and 1% soon, I’ve already disassembled/reassembled it, it’s just awaiting my patches. I’ll probably post a review soon, but the best part of this phone is the screen. If you haven’t seen one, go and look at one. I’d say some of the major cons are the price (on Sprint), the missing tab button and the lack of a flashlight. It is definitely faster according to my reference benchmarks on stock. This will be my target device for a CE6/CE7 BSP as well now.

Welcome aboard no2chem hopefally you can work on the overclocking for the TP2. I can't wait till I get my TP2 Oct 1

Nice! I used a lot of his stuff when I had my XV6800, so I am very excited that he too has moved on. Hopefully he can get our stuff overclocked.

this is by far the best news i have heard regarding the touch pro 2 besides the unlocker being worked on. Hopefully we can get some 6.5 roms from No2chem when it is released

Very good news. n2c creates solid tweaks and his vx6800 rom with no camera saved so much ram it was ridiculous.

Hopefally he will unlock the US gsm problem, I also noticed he talked about disassembling/reassembling it I wonder if that meant he took it appart, If he did I wonder if the FM radio hardware is present

Actually no. He probably got it to fix it like usual. Poor guy, HTC should be paying him. WHen ever a PPC comes out and no2chem has no interrest it it, that means it works right out the box like it should.

good to know No2Chem is on the scene! Now we need a unlocker and android 1.6 on the touch pro 2 and this will be the perfect phone! This should be exciting over the next few months.

Theres already a battery hack out for 1% but thats it. I love his work cant wait for him to release some stuff. Maybe he can do the keyboard on this one too and the advance processor control

ok that makes no sense because hes been upgrading just like the rest of us... he's clearly into PPCs, which is why he probably got it. tweaking it is just something that comes natural with EVERY ppc he gets. He's clearly on sprint, what other alternatives does he have if not a tp2. your statement is just ridiculous. i'll be waiting for you to admit you were wrong for hating on the tp2 once you get it :mrgreen:

I'll also note that I'm a fan of his work lol.
I loved nueSPL as an alternative to USB flashing, and his various system apps/tweaks/functionality extensions for the Titan.

No on FM radio on Sprint, Sprint had Different BT chip that does not have FM present, if I have read correctly. The Verizon has the Motorolo I believe.
