To remove the plastic or not

You know that plastic on the sides of your keyboard and under your screen?

Remove it or keep it is the question.

the plastic on the right side started peeling off and bunching up under the keyboard on the first day i had it. so i peeled them both off.

I wanted to leave it initially, seemed like a free and easy partial skin. Like razorloves said above, one side of mine started to scrunch up and get caught while sliding the keyboard, I ended up removing them all.

Wow... my right one kinda got folded up on the first day too. I just peeled both sides off. I was looking in between the the phone in front of a light and noticed that the top half has some little pads on it to keep it from scratching. I'm not sure how good of a job they do, or how long they will last before they rub away. But nevertheless, they are there.
