Is there a way to improve the lonnng time-to-ring incoming calls with the htc-tp2 ?

What are you using as your ringtone? If it's an MP3 file or other audio file and it's large in size, it will take longer to ring. Also, if your ringtone is on an SD card, it will take longer to ring.

Mine starts ringing on the 2nd ring from a landline every single time.

Not only that the second the caller ID lights up the display, the phone rings. On the TP1 there was about a long delay between the 2. I'd say they fixed the issue on the TP2.

Mine also starts sounding off and lighting up on the 2nd to 3rd ring. But I also noticed that the phone rings six times instead of 4 (on the originating phone). So it appears to me that Verizon changed the ring timer on the network for this phone. But all in all, still better than all the missed calls I got with the TP1.

Exactly as me: starts ringing on the 2nd ring

Now, i hurry to answer since i know that it hardly before the 4th ring that i can answer...kind of annoying...

my ringtone is an mp3 (should be ??? i dowloaded it, btw it's the same consequence with any other simple ringtone) it's an below ~400ko size stored on the cellphone storage ROM

i've heard that it was also an issue with HTC TP1...
