I had the eboelzner transparent flip clock installed, along with HDWalls. Uninstalled the clock, missed calls still doesn't work right. Would be sad if it was the HDWalls...

You may want to hard reset. It sounds like the clock cab is not uninstalling completely. I have not used any of the clocks and I have the HDWalls cabs installed with no home screen issues.

What worked for me was changing the windows today theme to something other the the VZW one, letting it load, and changing it back. That being said it wasn't ebolezner or my HD walls background that were causing it but some other home screen tweak I tried, both of those afore mentioned things are working great for me. So check your remove programs list and see if there is anything else installed that may be affecting the homescreen too.
