Verizon & GPS??
Got my new TP2 yesterday, have customized it pretty thoroughly & I love it except for two things.
1. Need For Speed Undercover g-sen version gives the infamous insufficient memory error 2. I can't seem to get the GPS to find any satellites. I installed the HTC GPS Tool & it is bringing in tons of RAW data, but never shows any satellites. Google maps & GarminXT both continually search for a lock but never find one. ~John |
Re: Verizon & GPS??
Did you set the location to on?

Re: Verizon & GPS??
Are you outside when you try it. Sit outside for 15 minutes and try it to see if you get a lock. and makesure your location is set to on from the phone>settings>location settings

Re: Verizon & GPS??
By default, the "Location On" setting is off. After I installed Garmin, it prompted me to turn it on

Re: Verizon & GPS??
The settings are all on (I think anyway, I'll check again)
I had working GPS in my old xv6800's & all my TP's so I'm familiar with all the settings. ~John |
Re: Verizon & GPS??
Oops, the location setting seems to have reverted back to the default.
Now, with it on again I'm getting a location reading at my desk inside the building. ~John |

Nice. Good work.

Re: Verizon & GPS??
I would run QuickGPS to download the latest GPS information first too..
