Idea For Zoom Bar Hack or App
 

I am wondering if the zoom bar could be enabled to give us back up and down from the D-PAD in apps that dont use the zoom bar. so, in say file explorer if you were to go from left to right on the zoom bar it would scroll down and then right to left would scroll up. I dont know any programming so I am just throwing this one out there. If this already exists. please let me know what its called. Thanks

Good idea. I had another one: double tap to bring up a scrollable task manager or bring up a scrollable list of favorites (maybe left or right side tap to give both). Coming from the Titan, I miss some buttons.

I actually (did) write a lot of code for a living, but no windows code and I don't have a ton of time right now. Maybe I'll give it a shot at some point.

It would be cool to do something better/useful with the scroll bar.

What about to slide from right to left to close active application or go back one screen like the Pre?

Nice! Go for it. Im glad Im not the only one who thinks this is a good idea. Maybe some other ppcgeek-ninja will know how to do it.

idk about you guys, but my zoom bar is pretty laggy/unresponsive most of the time. I barely use it. Maybe its because of the screen protector?

Im sure it can be optomized to a degree using custom ROMs built by the great chefs here at PPCGeeks. At this point though, the zoombar is pretty useless.
