Is sliding open the keyboard supposed to wake your TP2?

I'm on a VZW TP2, and I could've sworn that when my TP2 is on sleep mode, sliding open the keyboard would wake the device. It doesn't seem to be doing that now, so I want to make sure that I'm not mistaken.

it depends on how long its been asleep. but for the most part yes.

Mine always does, though I have a Sprint TP2.

Ah, well it's not doing that :| Hmm, I wonder if uninstalling Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool had anything to do with... but I don't know why that would affect anything else. It was working a few hours ago; I only just noticed the change. A soft reset didn't seem to change anything.

EDIT: Uh, when I lock my phone and then press the sleep button, and THEN slide open the keyboard, it automatically unlocks and wakes the phone. But if I don't lock it and just press the sleep button and try to slide open the keyboard, it doesn't wake. Where do I mess with the settings for this?

do you want it to do this?
do you have a registry editor?
if you have one look here.
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd\
look for "SlideWakeup" if its there what is its value?
1 means it wont wake up 0 means it will wake up when you side the keyboard open while the phone is asleep
if its not there then i have no clue why your phone doesnt wake up when you slide the keyboard out.

THIS. Thanks so much. I dunno what changed the setting, but now it's set correctly and after a soft reset, it works.
